Prepare both accounts before the meeting
The Stark Troubleshooting FAQ requires the buyer to be registered with Stark Future before ownership transfer. Use the buyer’s own account and email address. Sharing the seller’s credentials or handing over a logged-in device leaves the official ownership chain incomplete.
Arrange the meeting where the motorcycle can be powered on and both parties can access their registered email and the VARG app. Check the VIN and ownership documents before beginning the digital process.
Follow the seller-led sequence
The current owner stands beside the motorcycle while it is on and flashing green. In the VARG app settings, the seller selects Transfer Ownership and enters the buyer’s Stark email address.
Stark sends an authorisation PIN to the current owner’s email. According to the FAQ, that PIN remains valid for 10 minutes. Once the transfer is complete, the buyer logs in using their Stark account and follows the official Arkenstone pairing procedure.
Finish the whole handover together
Confirm that the buyer can proceed through the official pairing path, then check the charger, Arkenstone device, keys or other physical access items and service documents against the sale agreement. Treat payment and handover as unfinished until the ownership transfer succeeds.
Stop if the seller cannot access the current account, the PIN fails to arrive, the motorcycle will not enter the documented state or the transfer cannot be completed. Contact Stark support or Bajamoto for the official escalation route. Never pay on the assumption that inaccessible ownership can be recovered later.
