Stark account, Arkenstone pairing and ownership transfer

A Stark ownership transfer moves the motorcycle to the buyer’s registered Stark account; Arkenstone pairing follows after that transfer is authorised. Complete this process before payment and handover are treated as finished, because possession of the motorcycle alone does not complete the digital ownership chain.

01

Treat digital ownership as part of the motorcycle

A used VARG involves three connected layers: the Stark account identifies the user, the motorcycle carries its ownership association, and Arkenstone is the paired control interface. Handing over the bike, device or login details does not transfer all three correctly.

The Stark Troubleshooting FAQ requires the buyer to be registered with Stark Future before ownership transfer. Use the buyer’s own account and email. Do not share credentials or attempt to bypass account and pairing protections.

02

Follow the official sequence beside the bike

The current owner must stand next to the motorcycle while it is on and flashing green. In the VARG app settings, that owner selects Transfer Ownership and enters the buyer’s Stark email address.

Stark then emails an authorisation PIN to the current owner. According to the FAQ, it remains valid for 10 minutes. Once the ownership transfer is complete, the buyer logs in with their Stark account and follows the pairing procedure.

03

Build transfer into the used-bike handover

Meet somewhere the motorcycle can be powered on and both parties can reach their registered email and app. Check the VIN and documents first. Then complete the transfer and confirm that the buyer can proceed through the official pairing path.

Do this before payment and handover are considered finished. Check the charger, Arkenstone device, keys or other physical access items and service documents against the sale agreement as well.

04

Stop when the official path stops

Do not proceed if the seller cannot reach the current account, the PIN does not arrive, the motorcycle fails to enter the documented state or transfer cannot be completed. These are support cases, not reasons to work around the protection system.

Bajamoto or Stark support can direct the correct escalation and state what evidence is required. Recovery cannot be promised when the seller’s account is unavailable, so never complete the purchase on the assumption that access will be fixed later.
