Describe the failure precisely
First establish whether the motorcycle will not wake, wakes but cannot reach a ride-ready state, fails to pair or does not begin charging. Note what happened immediately beforehand. Calling every symptom “dead” removes information that support needs.
The current Stark owner manual directs riders to the online troubleshooting overview for the latest instructions. Use that official route for the exact symptom and software rather than following an old forum sequence or undocumented reset.
Keep owner checks external
Limit checks to external condition, correct shutdown and wake state, battery charge indication, dry and undamaged visible connectors and cables, correct charger supply, control LEDs and documented app messages. Do not remove covers to extend the investigation.
The motorcycle, connector and charger must be dry. Never use damaged charger cables. Check only the external supply and documented indications; do not bypass connectors, controls or protective systems. A successful power cycle does not prove the hardware is sound.
Collect evidence before contacting support
Record the model, VIN, software version, state of charge, LED sequence, exact message and operating conditions. A short video of the entire sequence may capture timing or indications that disappear before the case is reviewed.
State whether the fault followed charging, washing, transport, storage, an impact or a software change, but do not present timing as proof of cause. Send the organised record to Bajamoto or Stark support so the authorised path can select the next safe test.
Know the immediate stop conditions
Do not retry charging when equipment is wet or visibly damaged, charger cables are damaged, or the motorcycle has an abnormal physical condition. A battery exposed to seawater must not be charged. Stop owner intervention and contact authorised support.
High-voltage battery, inverter, motor, powertrain and internal electrical work is not owner troubleshooting. Do not open, probe, repair or bypass these systems. Follow Bajamoto or Stark instructions for safe handling and diagnosis.
